“It is incredibly important to me to feel I have fully engaged with my works of art. To know that I have given each of my pieces my own unique voice and energy. When it comes to casting limited edition sculptures I want to feel I fully understand all aspects of the process so that I can stamp my mark on each edition and infuse it with the meaning of the original piece. With each figure sculpture edition I have involved myself with the casting process in order to do this and have worked hard to produce the finished patination I desire.

Having had this personal connection with each cast I am then able to really feel present and personal when delivering my pieces to my collectors and am able to discuss with them the symbolism of the work, the process in which it was made and how best they may display it in their home or garden. I find this personal interaction with collectors a great pleasure which adds to a feeling of completion I get with a work of art. Having taken it right from the initial idea through the process of creation and casting to delivery and siteing.

I am and always will be truly grateful to have such connection to my work and I thoroughly enjoy being able to speak from this place of connection when in dialogue with collectors, curators, followers or enthusiasts.”
